Dynetics Gilbert Advanced Manufacturing Facility

The Gilbert Advanced Manufacturing Facility provides Dynetics with a highly adaptable environment with the main objective of taking concepts rapidly through design, prototyping and final product manufacture.  Systems for surveillance, automotive testing, avionics, PCB’s produced with SMT and more are benefited by having electrical and mechanical components together to produce individual parts or complex systems.  The overarching directive for all of Dynetics facilities is flexibility since programs/contracts come in and complete while the next set of programs may not have even been conceived of today. This building's MEP systems as well as compressed air, gases and grounding are designed in modules for rapid reconfigurations and are segregated by classified construction protocols which allows for contract segregation.

The aesthetic goals defined by Dynetics were to provide an overall simple and clean design with emphasis on the entry experience for customers.   A dramatic cantilevered canopy greets the visitor with a sense of weightlessness, and is supported by cast in place elements which invoke the imagery of flight.
